This agreement is between you ("You" or "Guest") and HALO Auragraphic, Inc. ("HALO"), a California corporation. By purchasing or attending a session with HALO, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before booking.
1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL
All purchases are final. Once a booking is complete, HALO does not offer refunds, credits, or reschedules for any reason, including but not limited to changes in personal schedule, illness, transportation issues, or failure to attend. By completing your booking, you acknowledge and accept this policy.
If you are unable to attend your session, you are welcome to gift it to a friend or family member. Simply forward your order confirmation email to them — they will need to present it upon arrival to use your session in your place.
2. LATE ARRIVALS
HALO operates on a strict appointment schedule. Sessions run back to back and cannot be extended. If you arrive more than 5 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, your session will be automatically forfeited. No refund, credit, or reschedule will be provided.
If you booked a 10-minute Mini Session, please be aware that even a few minutes of lost time can significantly impact your experience, as the process of capturing and developing the aura image can take up to 5 minutes of the session on its own.
3. MISSED SESSIONS
No refunds, credits, or reschedules will be provided for missed sessions, regardless of the reason.
4. YOUR USE OF AURA PHOTOGRAPHS
The aura photograph(s) you receive from your session ("Aura Photo(s)") are provided for your personal, private use only. You may share them on your personal social media accounts.
You do not acquire any ownership, commercial rights, or licensing rights to the Aura Photo(s). You may not use the Aura Photo(s) for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to:
- Business websites or online profiles used for commercial purposes
- Advertisements or promotional materials
- Album covers, press photos, or artist materials
- Marketing, branding, or any use connected to selling or promoting a product or service
- Any media intended to generate revenue or commercial benefit
Any use of the Aura Photo(s) beyond personal, private use is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from HALO.
5. HALO'S USE OF YOUR IMAGE
By booking and attending a session with HALO, you grant HALO Auragraphic, Inc. a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, and irrevocable license to use the image and/or likeness appearing in your Aura Photo(s) for HALO's own purposes, including but not limited to advertising, marketing, social media, publications, and other promotional uses. You waive any right to review or approve such use.
Please note that HALO does not actively use most guest aura photographs in marketing or promotional materials — the vast majority of photos are never published or shared by us. However, we reserve the right to do so, and this release ensures we have that option available.
If you do not wish for your image to be used in this way, please notify us in writing at info@haloauragraphic.com prior to your session and we will honor your request.
6. PHOTO QUALITY
All aura readings are captured on analog film. HALO makes no guarantees about the outcome, quality, or appearance of any photograph. Photo quality is subjective and results vary by individual. Re-dos are not available for any reason, including dissatisfaction with the appearance of the photograph.
7. SUBJECTS IN THE PHOTO
HALO can accommodate a maximum of two (2) people per photograph. To have one additional person in the photo with you ("Buddy"), you must select and pay for the 'With A Buddy' add-on during the booking process.
Only one film copy of the photograph will be provided per booked session, including Buddy sessions. If you would like two copies, two sessions must be booked.
8. CHILDREN
Children under the age of 7 are not permitted to participate in the aura photo process. This policy exists due to the delicate nature of the equipment, safety considerations, and the requirement that subjects remain completely still during the 10-second exposure. By booking a session for a child, you confirm that the child is age 7 or older.
9. PETS AND ANIMALS
Pets and animals of any kind are not permitted to participate in or attend sessions. Only legally designated service animals are permitted in the studio space.
10. NO RECORDING DURING SESSIONS
Photos, video recording, and audio recording are not permitted during any session. All phones and cameras must be put away for the duration of your appointment.
11. MULTIPLE GUESTS
If you have booked sessions for other guests, it is your responsibility to forward this agreement and your order confirmation email to each guest so they are aware of all policies prior to their session.
12. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved in Los Angeles County, California.
